The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 which started in early 2020 is a war without any smoke. Since the outbreak of this global epidemic, Porton has been closely following the situation in China and other countries. Under the premise of controlling the epidemic and taking good care of our employee, Porton has made every effort to ensure all ongoing projects are on schedule for the timely delivery to our global customers, endowing a new meaning to our mission which is to build the world’s leading pharma solutions platform, enabling the transformation of molecules to medicines with continuous improvements in speed and cost.

Apart from our business, Porton has not been absent from every small act of kindness in responding to the challenge of COVID-19. We take every action to fulfill our socially responsibility and help our community, including donation of medical supplies to the community.

During these challenging times, as one of the leading pharmaceutical related enterprises in Chongqing Liangjiang Industrial Park, Porton assisted the local authorities with epidemic prevention by donating ten-thousand surgical masks at the early outbreak of COVID-19 in Feb and also helped with other small sized enterprises to tide over the difficulties and resume production as much as we could.

Dongbang, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Porton in Jiangxi province, also actively made donation through various channels. Our employees initiated fund-raising activities and our management team tried every means to deliver and provide urgent medical support and materials to the local frontline epidemic prevention staff such as police and community staff.

 At present, China's “war of COVID-19” has achieved remarkable results. However, the large-scale epidemic outbreak from Europe to the Americas, from the Middle East to the Asia-pacific has been reported every day, thus many countries have declared a state of emergency. 

Last week, Porton’s management team decided to provide every possible assistance to the countries or regions that have been affected by the COVID-19. On March 20, 2020(last Friday), Porton sent the first batch of medical supplies to Italy, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, India and other countries to help overseas customers and institutions go through these difficult times.



As the old saying goes, as the mountain range that stretches before you and me, let’s share the same trials and hardships together. Porton will continue to assist other associations, especially medical institutions in this battle. Recently, Porton and Janssen have agreed to jointly donate another 100,000 N95 masks to Belgian medical institutions in order to help the local hospitals overcome the medical crisis.

At this critical moment, Porton sent medical support and materials to our customers and our compatriots when needed. At the same time, we take every possible actions to ensure employee health and safety and to provide professional and efficient services for our global customers as always.
